The (FdEng) in Mechanical Engineering has been developed by Solihull College and Oxford Brookes University, to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed for a technical or management career in the mechanical engineering industry.This programme offers flexible learning patterns. It enables students with a relevant Level 4 qualification in a Mechanical Engineering subject, or equivalent, to obtain a FdEng in Mechanical Engineering. If desired, you could progress to a BSc (Hons) programme in Mechanical Engineering and practice in a career as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng). The BSc (Hons) programme aims to meet increasing industry demand for employees with the right vocational knowledge and skills. This will help you progress in the workplace or continue your studies to a higher-level degree course.This course is Level 5 entry only, meaning students must have a relevant Level 4 qualification to apply.
