Our BEng programmes meet, in part, the exemplifying academic benchmark requirements for registration as a Chartered Engineer, graduates will need to complete an approved format of further learning. From mechanics and computing to mechanical design and powertrain engineering, you’ll learn the essentials and then specialise in automotive subjects with this flexible programme. You’ll be able to attend lectures on industrial design projects from leading engineering companies. You can even join student activity teams to design, build and race cars in global competitions. You’ll work alongside students in other engineering disciplines, so you graduate with interdisciplinary experience. Your degree will begin mostly with examinations, before shifting to continuous assessment in project work during later years. This will allow you to specialise after undertaking thorough grounding of engineering principles at the start of your studies.
