This Master's in Otorhinolaryngology is a unique, ground-breaking course developed in collaboration with internationally renowned Consultant Otorhinolaryngologists.Otorhinolaryngology (Ear, Nose' and Throat surgery – ENT) is a diverse surgical specialty that involves the management of a wide range of conditions affecting both children and adults. The vast majority of conditions have a significant impact on a patient’s quality of life, and some are of a truly urgent, emergency or life threatening nature.Entry into Otorhinolaryngology is highly competitive. However, exposure to the specialty is often limited at Medical school, with some doctors having had little or no formal training. Hence, the majority of training in ENT is undertaken at postgraduate level.1 year
You will need to have a primary medical qualification and have a minimum of two years post qualification clinical experience within Otorhinolaryngology. Full registration with the GMC is required if you wish to undertake clinical practice such as assisting in operating theatre.
