This specialised MBA offers a Supply Chain Management pathway through the existing contemporary and practical MBA. The way a supply chain functions in its environment is critical to organisation’s strategic objectives. To sustain and improve their competitive position, modern organisations work together with upstream and downstream members in the value chain to provide products and/or services that satisfy their customers' preferences and needs. The aim of this pathway is to develop an in-depth understanding of how supply chain processes and functions are interrelated with business strategy.Develop a critical understanding of major supply chain principles and concepts. Recognise the importance of supply chain relationships and reflect on the role of process integration in supply chain performance and competitiveness. Learn about contemporary key principles, practices, systems, and techniques used in supply chain management.Develop critical thinking skills to assess the impact of supply chain strategies in terms of business trade-offs, corporate social responsibility and organisational values, cost, efficiency, and effectiveness as well as leadership approaches and business ethics.You are able to move from full-time to part-time study and vice-versa to accommodate any external factors such as financial constraints or domestic commitments. Many of our students make use of this flexibility and this may impact the overall duration of their study period.The business magazine, Forbes, has calculated that successful MBA graduates pay back the cost of their qualifications within four to five years on average - with lifetime earnings greatly enhanced thanks to the qualification.Studying for your MBA with us should enhance your employability and earning power and develop your ability to approach business problems in a strategic manner.
