How you'll learn
This MBA programme is aimed at future healthcare leaders wanting to examine existing health systems and practices around the world, as well as explore the impact of innovations and rapid technological development on healthcare.
A range of assessments will be used including digital portfolios, consultancy projects, and presentations. Emphasis will be placed o your ability to apply skills learnt during the module towards real world challenges you may face in the workplace.
You can choose to undertake an optional placement on this programme to enhance your both your skills and career prospects.
Career options
On the top-up MBA you will build up the skills in leadership and management required to cope with careers in diversified business, social and political environments.
The current pandemic has forced organisations to develop a new sense of purpose and value which will lead to the creation of more career opportunities for those who will benefit from a top-up MBA.
On graduating you will be equipped to work as a manager in a multinational corporation, international SME or start your own consultancy business.
You should usually hold a second-class honours degree (certain programmes may require a 2:1) from a recognised British or overseas university. Advice on recognition can be obtained from the Admissions Office. Non-graduates with appropriate professional qualifications will be considered on an individual basis by Programme Conveners; Applicants will be expected to apply and register for the full master's award. Those with a third-class honours degree are encouraged to complete an application as we will consider an applicant's wider circumstances in making a decision on an application.
