You’ll learn how to create your own applications and analyse big data using R and Python, and make extensive use of our Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab. You’ll also benefit from opportunities to network with guest speakers and at FinTech events in London. You can take an optional placement year in industry, with many FinTech firms in Essex and London to choose from. We want you to graduate ready to hit the ground running. That’s why we’ve worked with employers and current students to ensure we teach the most relevant, up-to-date knowledge and skills on our Fintech and Data Analysis MBA course.

How you'll be assessed

Assessment will take a variety of forms that reflect the innovative and varied nature of FinTech. These include written assignments, portfolio development, presentations, case studies, examinations and group work. The assessment will be directed to both test your achievement in the outcomes of the modules but also to develop your wider skills and knowledge in the area of financial innovation.
