Whether you’re modelling the spread of infectious diseases, managing the sustainable use of renewable resources, designing for energy efficiency, or simulating sustainable transport – maths is at the heart of some of the biggest global issues we face.
This course is accredited by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications to meet the educational requirements of the Chartered Mathematician designation when followed by subsequent training and experience in employment to obtain equivalent competences to those specified by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) for taught masters degrees.
