You’ll develop your research skills and explore in depth an area of your choice in your MSc dissertation, supported by one of our expert faculty. Our research at Sussex plays an important role in the current development of areas as diverse as: analysis and partial differential equations mathematical physics mathematics applied to biology numerical analysis and scientific computing probability and statistics. On this course, you’ll explore a variety of mathematical subjects. You’ll have the opportunity to tailor your degree, choosing topics in theoretical and applied mathematics for both research- and practice-oriented studies. When you graduate, you’ll have strong analytic thinking, research and communication skills – ready for a wide range of professional opportunities.
