We are proud to offer this new specialist Masters course which aims to develop future managers and leaders. The course will assist you in gaining the public health management and leadership skills required to meet the demands presented by global and UK government policy and public health.
The teaching team are actively involved in public health research, providing opportunities for you to put your new learning and knowledge into practice through varied forums (research/community based).
Teaching is delivered through a range of teaching methods. Assessment will be though a series of course work. Feedback (usually written) is normally provided on all coursework submissions within three term time weeks – unless the submission was made towards the end of the session in which case feedback would be available on request after the formal publication of results. Feedback on exam performance/final coursework is available on request after the publication of results.
An honours degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent in a subject relevant to public health, such as health professional qualifications, social science subjects, applied sciences, business, leadership, management or administration.
