The European College of Business and Management (ECBM) specializes in extra-occupational courses in business and management and offers participants a compact and flexible option to complete a master's degree while working.
The course is aimed at Bachelor graduates who want to orientate their Master’s course internationally. The practice-oriented course also offers the opportunity to combine a professional career with an academic career.
The course begins annually in the winter semester. The lectures take place on weekends in Germany and London. The language of instruction is English.
The course is organized by the ECBM in cooperation with our partner university Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), which awards the academic title.
Course of studies
The course content is conveyed using the blended learning method, a combination of distance learning and classroom attendance, primarily at weekend seminars.
The participants prepare for the upcoming weekend seminar with the help of various blended learning methods. During the lesson, the theoretically acquired knowledge is put into practice and deepened with case studies, group and specialist discussions. Participants are thus part of the learning process - guided by the lecturers of the respective subjects.
A high proportion of self-study is required and the participants are encouraged to prepare intensively for the upcoming weekend seminar.
