The BA (Hons) Marketing Management at Cardiff Met has been developed in conjunction with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) syllabuses. The course has a great reputation for its vocational orientation - becoming a 'Met Marketer' will enable you to gain the academic knowledge and practical skills needed to gain employment in the marketing industry.The Chartered Institute for Management (CIM) describes marketing as "the management process responsible for identifying, anticipating and satisfying customer requirements profitably". Marketing is a critical business function and is perhaps the most important component in determining a business' profitability.Upon graduating you will have a wide base of marketing and management knowledge in what marketers say will be the most important knowledge capabilities in 5 years: Digital Marketing, Branding, Marketing communications, Global and International Marketing, PR and Corporate Reputation and be able to speak French, Spanish or Mandarin Chinese. You will also have the personal capabilities senior managers expect of a professional marketer: creative, commercially-astute, inspiring and not risk adverse.Course Length:Three years full-time.Four years full-time if undertaking year-long industry placement.Four years full-time if undertaking foundation year.Five years full-time if undertaking foundation year and year-long industry placement.
