MSc Marketing in the Creative Industries is designed to provide conceptual, methodological and strategic application of marketing theory in the creative industries. The programme focusses on fine and visual arts, theatre, dance, music, fashion, film, design, gaming and more. The programme is grounded in interdisciplinary modes of critical enquiry, emergent and experimental organisational media practice. Students will develop insight into practical marketing and audience development for the arts and cultural sectors. The MSc is open to graduates of all disciplinary backgrounds.
Assessment
Learning outcomes are assessed using a mix of coursework, essays, projects, creative portfolios, presentations and exams. There will be variation across modules, and some are wholly examined by coursework. Teaching staff will aim to provide students with constructive feedback on assessments.
