Overview
Marketing provides a valuable contribution to any organisation by acting as the bridge between it and its market. This is vital in the satisfaction of organisational objectives and in the provision of sustainable competitive advantage. A Higher-Level Apprenticeship (HLA) in Marketing offers a route into the marketing profession whilst developing key knowledge, skills and behaviours through study, which are then applied in a work setting.
The HLA Marketing at Belfast Met offers its apprentices a two-and-a-half-year Foundation Degree in Marketing whilst in paid employment. The learning aspect of HLA is offered by your study pathway – one day a week in college, on the FdSc Marketing, whilst your role within an HLA employer allows you to apply your learning in a marketing role within your workplace. The Foundation Degree in Marketing is validated by Ulster University.
In addition, you will have work-based projects to complete and report on. Throughout the programme, you will also have the support of both a workplace and a college mentor to advise and guide you.
The Foundation Degree in Marketing at Belfast Met is also a CIM Accredited Degree, which means that on successful completion, graduates earn exemptions from the CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional and Professional Digital Marketing. Consequently, this speeds up the process of achieving professional recognition which serves to enhance employability within this discipline. CIM is the globally recognised professional body for Marketing.
