Overview
Marketing is an integral part of any business and is a sector that remains in growth especially within the current economic climate. If you are interested in specialising and working in the marketing profession, then this two-year full-time programme may be for you.
A key feature of this programme is the emphasis on improving employability skills and in first year, you will complete a module on Personal and Professional Development to support career planning. In second year, there is a compulsory extended period of work placement when you will complete a live marketing project. As a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Graduate Gateway accredited college, completion of this Foundation Degree at Belfastmet entitles you to claim exemption from two modules on CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing.

Successful graduates have a choice of progression opportunities subject to meeting entry requirements and can apply to complete a top-up degree at university either through full time or part time study e.g. BSc Hons Marketing at Ulster University; or a professional programme of study e.g. the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) which is currently being offered on a part-time study basis at Belfast Met.
