Discover your creative flair and develop your understanding of the key concepts and practices of contemporary marketing and media. Youll explore essential themes from digital marketing and consumer behaviour to discovering the evolution of the media and the role it plays in today's society, preparing you for a variety of career pathways.
Course overview
Elevate your expertise in two dynamic subjects on our Marketing and Media BA (Hons) programme.
Studying marketing will provide you with the essential marketing strategies and techniques applicable in today's fast-moving and increasingly digital business world. Relevant, contemporary marketing concepts and theories are explored to enhance your knowledge in specific areas such as consumer, business-to-business, social, and not-for-profit marketing, and you will start to explore the different psychological and social influences on consumer behaviour.
On this creative course you will study the theoretical aspects of media, critically evaluate content and ideas, as well as develop practical skills through optional modules which give you the opportunity to undertake activities such as film making and editing.
There are a number of exciting activities to get involved in across this degree programme including film making, photography, broadcasting and sound recording. These experiences will allow you to showcase and enhance your skill set and apply your learning in a creative setting, using industry-standard equipment.
