About this course

If you aspire to a career in the fun, dynamic, fast-moving world of marketing or advertising, this is the course for you.The course is designed in consultation with leading industry experts, bringing together the latest theories and practices in marketing. You’ll explore the role and function of contemporary and digital marketing in modern business, so when you graduate, you’ll be at the edge of the job market with the knowledge and skills employers seek.You can gain hands-on marketing experience through an internship or develop your skills as a consultant by working in a team on a live project. Another option is to delve into entrepreneurship and create your own start-up with support from the Business School.


This course is offered with a Foundation Year in Business

The foundation year takes place the year before your degree. You will study at Kingston College and cover topics including professional skills, numerical concepts, business IT, marketing, customer care, and business law. Upon successful completion of this foundation year, you will progress to Year 1 of this degree.


Future Skills

Embedded within every course curriculum and throughout the whole Kingston experience, Future Skills will play a role in shaping you to become a future-proof graduate, providing you with the skills most valued by employers such as problem-solving, digital competency, and adaptability.As you progress through your degree, you'll learn to navigate, explore and apply these graduate skills, learning to demonstrate and articulate to employers how future skills give you the edge.At Kingston University, we're not just keeping up with change, we're creating it.


Career opportunities

This course meets the needs of the continuously evolving careers in marketing and advertising, including brand and marketing communications managers, market researchers, media planners and buyers, account executives, copywriters, as well as advertising and social media managers. Many graduates progress to postgraduate study.
