On this course, you’ll learn to design, evaluate and apply IT systems within business environments. By studying at Sussex, you will: explore theories relating to IT management as an innovative resource analyse current IT system trends, methodologies and interfaces communicate concepts, designs and evaluation within a technical environment learn from experts dedicated to solving real-world problems benefit from our links to industry, research and policymaking. Throughout your studies, you’ll draw from our interdisciplinary culture to explore a range of human, organisational and strategic factors. You’ll have the opportunity to specialise in one of two routes designed to suit your existing expertise. One route is for students with a background in management or information systems. The other is for those with a background in computer science, programming or software engineering. Your studies will culminate in an individual research project on an area of your choice, such as: IT applications in business contexts IT strategy in particular regions, industries or sectors complex IT project and system management user perspectives and IT systems design IT innovation for business models.
