The best aspects: One of the best things about my uni experience has been the sense of community and support from both staff and students. The lecturers are genuinely passionate about their subjects and always willing to help, which makes learning feel engaging and personal. There are also plenty of opportunities to get involved beyond the classroom for example: societies, volunteering, and events that make campus life really vibrant. The facilities, especially the library and study spaces, are excellent and create a good environment for focusing on coursework. areas for improvement: One area that could be improved is communication and organisation sometimes timetables or assessment details aren’t shared as clearly or as early as they could be.

My course and specific modules would be better with more structure and resources provided. My first module of equity and trusts was very well structured and I felt that it set us up to succeed :)

DMU is a vibrant community, a melting pot of many cultures, offering a welcoming atmosphere regardless of one's background. As a PhD student, which often requires independent study and isolation, I tend to be more introverted and, at times, antisocial. However, DMU actively addresses this by organizing social activities that encourage interaction and self-expression. These initiatives have been incredibly helpful, and I thoroughly enjoy participating in them. Thanks to these opportunities, I have made a good number of friends. I have not had any negative experiences.
