Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its transformative impact on business and society is increasingly becoming a core skill in the workplace within industry and government, as a greater number of jobs utilise AI based systems to solve many business problems. The MSc Management (Artificial Intelligence) at Swansea will provide a solid introduction to the business and management implications for the adoption of AI within organisations, giving students valuable insight to many of the complexities surrounding the greater use of AI. You will explore key AI principles and be equipped with core knowledge from theoretical and practice-based perspectives, giving you a detailed and systematic understanding of many of the key issues, best practice and ethical considerations within the AI domain. These key skills are increasingly in demand by many organisations at a global level. In addition, you will learn about management in an interconnected global community as well as core management concepts such as managing financial resources, operations management, human resource management and marketing management to give you a solid grounding in a range of dynamic business principles. Accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) the only chartered professional body in the UK dedicated to promoting the highest standards in management and leadership excellence, the course is open to students from any discipline who would like to work in business or management. Upon successful completion of the relevant mapped modules within the MSc Management you will qualify for CMI’s Level seven Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership.
To be eligible, you must attain a 2:2 in an undergraduate degree. This is a conversion course targeted at students who do not have an undergraduate background in Business Management. Applicants from any undergraduate background will be considered.
