This pathway offers a specialisation in political theory, while also deepening your knowledge in other areas of philosophy. Therefore, you must have studied some philosophy in your undergraduate degree. It is particularly suited for those of you who are from PPE, philosophy and law, or philosophy and politics undergraduate courses. This is a course taught by both philosophy and politics discipline areas for high quality students tapping into the exceptionally large and talented group of staff who work in political theory and in philosophy at The University of Manchester.
We require a UK bachelor's degree with a First or Upper Second classification or the overseas equivalent, in any discipline. When assessing your academic record we consider your degree subject, grades you have achieved and the standing of the institution where you studied your qualification.
