Develop your business acumen and creativity with the MA International Brand Management. Learn to craft compelling brand strategies that can resonate across cultures and markets, while also exploring the impact of branding on society and how to champion responsible marketing. You will examine innovative brand development and consider how to create memorable brand experiences, balancing rational and emotional approaches to branding. If you choose to take the placement pathway you can do an additional industry placement to test your knowledge, gain more knowledge, and add experience to your CV. What will I study? On this exciting and varied course, you’ll develop the knowledge and experience to help you step into a brand management role. You’ll look at brand strategies which are particularly relevant for international markets, and delve into consumer psychology and brand storytelling. You will analyse real-world business problems through detailed case studies, which helps you develop the ability to identify issues, design effective solutions, and defend your strategies. You’ll gain hands-on experience with a variety of online digital media tools, enhancing your digital marketing skills, which is crucial for modern marketing roles. You’ll look at innovation and sustainability in brand management, and social media marketing and analytics. To further prepare you for the digital aspect of modern marketing, you’ll look at planning for digital channels and campaign management. If you choose to take the placement pathway you can do an additional industry placement to test your knowledge, gain more knowledge, and add experience to your CV.
Applicants to the programme will normally have obtained a Bachelors degree with Honours (or equivalent) which can be in a range of subject disciplines or professions. Applicants need a minimum of a 2:2 in their degree to be considered.
