The course is amazing for what I want to do with many industry professionals as teachers and high industry knowledge which makes me feel confident in my choice and helping me in future life. Hatfield is quite a boring place to live but other than that the uni is great

I wish they had more stuff for my course especially during careers fairs as sometimes it feels useless to go to. The lecturers on our course make up for this for trying to provide an industry talk every Wednesday which helps a bit.

University of Hertfordshire is an excellent, modern campus, but is hindered slightly by being located in the quiet town of Hatfield, which can be quite limited in terms of entertainment venues. The school's facilities are well kept, every student I've met has been extremely friendly and open, and the accommodation is modern and well maintained. When comparing to my friends' experiences at other universities, the campus's homely feel is unlike any other, with daily free sports and club activities to make sure everyone feels included. The night life after freshers is pretty limited for those that want to party (the University's club is the only one in Hatfield), but there's also plenty of activities to do that don't involve clubbing. Central London is an hour away (It says 20 minutes, but it's about half an hour from the uni to the station on an average day, 20 minutes on the train and at least 10 minutes out of Kings Cross) I haven't used student services like the SU much, but they're active on social media and are always organising events (lunch and pingpong, arts and crafts, pop-up markets, International student meetups) which are a great way to meet and chat with people in the University. Overall, University of Hertfordshire is an excellent uni that cares about their students and their wellbeing. At least in my course, the teachers genuinely want to see their students graduate at a level that can get them straight into the industry. The location of Hatfield, depending on how much of a partier you are, can be a negative, but I'm still enjoying my time a lot.

The course pushes us through giving us 6 briefs in a semester simultaneously, so we learn to time manage and be prepared for short deadlines on the industry. The lecturers are all people who have worked in the industry for many years so their insight and teaching is very helpful.
