University of South Wales

The University is great overall, its close to town for easy transport and while there aren't many on campus facilities its good overall. Extensive library with lots of places to sit and chill, and the campus has recently had renovations to try improve student experience. My main positive feedback for USW is the lecturers. All the ones ive had have been amazing, so supportive, they get to know you as an individual as opposed to just hiding behind a computer screen. Theyve helped and supported me in both academic and personal aspects and im so grateful for all of them. Student life is a bit quiet in Newport due to the city rather than the university itself, but its not far to get to Cardiff for a decent night out. Been a student here many years and still got 2 years to go, but im still happy I chose this as my university for both my undergraduate and Masters degree!!

The lectures and lecturers are excellent and very informative. The support you recieve is good and you feel that any answers given are well informed and personal. Student life in the Newport campus is always sleepy and is geared up for the other campuses.

I really like the different studying facilities that are available. Student Life at one of the campuses is a bit disappointing but overall the uni is great

Amazingly accessible and good communication between departments and students. I never feel like I am in an enormous university as the staff and students always make each other feel welcome and included,
