Overview
Unlock your potential as a creator – designing, building and sharing powerful content that connects brands and their customers.
In our fast-changing digital landscape, businesses are looking to engage with consumers in new creative ways, using content to build awareness and shape customer decisions. Whether you’re looking to build, manage or become a brand, you'll be empowered to build a community, share stories and amplify your voice through the creation of content.
We’ll help you find your voice, form an authentic personal brand and use data to identify your audience – shaping your content to appeal to specific sub-groups. You’ll explore organic versus paid content, examine the range of planning tools available to you, and learn to use the right platforms for maximum impact, engagement, visibility and revenue.
You’ll also explore the commercial aspects of content creation (monetizing content, the legal and regulatory considerations when promoting products) and discover how brands and agencies engage with creators as partners (influencers or brand ambassadors) and producers (freelance creatives).
Throughout your course, you’ll join our Creative Studio – a skills track that allows you to develop your expertise in practical fields from digital photography to copywriting and video production. With access to industry-standard studios, software and professional equipment, you’ll build your portfolio while gaining the technical skills to succeed as a creative leader and influencer.
In your final term, complete a major creative project – applying your knowledge to a suite of content, video documentary, podcast or full marketing plan.
