It's hard for me to give an accurate rating on all aspects as I have nothing to compare to. However, I am rather happy with how everything is. The best aspects are the feeling of entering a new life, and forcing yourself to develop as a person really quickly. the worst part I would say is the regret sometimes when I deep the fact I pay 9 grand a year and sometimes the lectures remind me of college lessons. I look at some friends that went straight into work after college and think how much more money I could have if I was working full time

It would be nice if you had a good digital map that doesn’t require wifi since the campus is so spread out. When I first got here it was a little hard to find certain facilities.

I di t think there’s any need of improvement. I was anxious before coming here. The ranking of the uni and everything. But turns out, everything is great.

Cardiff university is a great place for study in my opinion. The teaching method at Cardiff university is great, the assessment for each module is very forward-thinking, as most of the assessment is based on the learning of the students and applying that knowledge to a project to get more practical knowledge. the teachers are very helpful, I asked a few on getting help with getting internships and they didn't hesitate to refer me to people that they could get in contact with. The university has quite a few advisors, which also involves graduate job counselor, they will help you step by step and tell you what aspects of your portfolio needs help, they have resources for interview and tests that we can practice for a better result. The facilities are top-notch as well because there are numerous cafes and dedicated study areas for students to study. The buildings themselves are very good-looking and have a very aesthetic look to them.

The support and student union make it a very fun and engaging experience. The academics itself could be improved. A lot is left for students to tackle themselves without sufficient guidance. This could have been mainly due to the lack of in person classes due to Covid restrictions. International students were required to pay fees like every year yet the complete experience was missing and the whole academic year was held remotely.
