Our assessments are ‘open book’ on the LLM LPC. You are permitted to take hard copies of any materials into your exams, such as your course materials, any revision notes and statute books. The majority of legal knowledge required for passing the LLM LPC comes from these permitted sources, as opposed to case law. You can focus your revision on when and how to apply law, rather than memorising it, which most accurately reflects what it is like in practice.
The entry requirements to study the LLM Legal Practice Course are: - Qualifying law degree minimum 2:2 or above - No-law degree minimum 2:2 or above and a pass in a law conversion course, such as a PGDL, GDL, CPE, or similar qualification such as CILEx
