Assessment method
Our LLM Law Conversion with SQE1 is made up of two courses: Law Conversion Course (PGDL) and SQE1 Preparation.
Our Law Conversion Course (PGDL) features are variety of assessments, including:
Written exams
Multiple-choice questions
Oral assessments
Written coursework
Some exams will be part-seen, involving advanced release of assessment material.
The pass mark for all assessments is 50%.
Coursework is in the form of essays, reports or case studies, while group or individual presentations may be required to assess other competencies.
For SQE1 Preparation, you’ll sit multiple-choice assessments, which are written in the same style as the SQE1 papers and reflect the knowledge you’ll need to pass the external assessment. You’ll also be required to submit a portfolio of skills and a reflective statement to demonstrate the development of your core legal skills.
The entry requirements to study the Law Conversion with SQE1 are: - Minimum 2:2 honours degree (or equivalent) in any subject from a recognised UK institution (or overseas equivalent) If you do not think you meet the entry requirements, but have other qualifications, strong references, or relevant work experience, please contact us and we would be happy to review your options.
