Why study International Commercial Law Our distance learning LLM International Commercial Law enhances your critical understanding of the legal and regulatory frameworks that support global business and commerce. Combining theory with practice, you'll critically evaluate some of the most urgent contemporary global issues impacting the diverse field of commerce. These range from legal issues in technology, world trade, banking, finance and corporate governance. On our LLM International Commercial Law, you'll study commercial laws giving you the expertise to stand out. Regardless of your background, you'll start with an introductory module in law and research, establishing a solid foundation for the rest of the course. In your final module, the Legal Research Project, you'll apply your learning by researching a topic of your interest. This allows you to demonstrate your legal knowledge, critical understanding, research skills, and self-reflection. Flexible online learning The course's online format and part-time structure offer maximum flexibility. You can study from anywhere in the world while balancing your studies with existing commitments. Where can it take me Whether you have legal experience or not, this LLM will help you build the foundation for law and research you'll need to study the course's laws and policies. As you progress, you'll explore more specialist legal and commercial topics, including world trade law, international contracts, technology law, financial crimes, intellectual property and banking law. You'll develop transferable skills, such as legal research, problem-solving, enterprise and communication, which are desirable across legal and non-legal professional contexts. Students should have: An honours degree of 2:2 or above in Law, or An honours degree of 2:2 or above plus a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) or the Common Professional Examination (CPE), or An honours degree of 2:2 or above in a related subject (such as business, politics or international relations) and/or relevant experience.
