You will gain a critical understanding of contemporary issues in international business law.
The course will enable you to acquire and develop enhanced analytical, critical, communication and presentational skills appropriate to postgraduate level study in the context of their mandatory and optional modules, and to become familiar with the central problems of research in these areas;
You will appreciate the roles of both national and international law in the development and application of International Business Law.

This course equips students with legal knowledge that is required to deal with an increasing number of global issues relating to law and business.
On completion of the course, students will be able to understand cross border jurisdiction issues thereby increasing their employability from an international perspective. Students will understand the different international organisations that regulate law and business.
A lower second class honours degree in law or joint law programme such as Business and Law, or other relevant academic and or practical experience in the business sphere. Mature applicants without the above qualifications but have significant experience in appropriate subject areas may be accepted on the programme if it is believed they may be able to succeed on the award. In these circumstances students would be required to undertake preparatory studies to prepare them for study at Level 7.
