Our new dedicated Solent Courtroom offers the chance to build experience and confidence in a professional legal setting, which includes weekly mooting and inter-university competitions to enable you to develop your industry skills further.Our recent ground-breaking partnership with the College of Legal Practice enables you to undertake modules in your final year that give you credit towards your degree qualification and also in preparing for the Solicitors Qualification Examination One (SQE1), giving you a real head start if you’re considering becoming a solicitor.You’ll also build the essential skills and understanding for a wide range of legal roles, from corporate law to police or central government, along with transferable skills that will support your employability across a wide range of industries – ensuring you have maximum flexibility when choosing your future career.You'll have the option for a placement year between the second and third years of study, where you have the opportunity to work in industry, gaining valuable employment and experience.Taught by experts with strong links to the legal profession, the course gives you plenty of opportunities for practical experience and to develop your own professional network.
