You will learn to think rationally, communicate succinctly and be able to construct persuasive and effective arguments.With a detailed understanding of the framework and application of legal rules and innovative opportunities, we will equip you with practical and professional transferable skills through mooting, client interviewing, role plays and law clinic activities.You will put legal theory into practice in our purpose-built mock courtroom and be supported to enhance your skills in collaboration, effective communication, legal research, and public speaking. Gain valuable practical experience through undertaking a compulsory work placement module and embedded digital internships. Benefit from our extensive links with industry through guest lectures and networking opportunities with law firms, public sector specialists and not-for-profit organisations.You will emerge with the mindset of a lawyer ready to work efficiently and innovatively in a variety of careers or take the next steps in professional training to become a solicitor or barrister.
