Our BSc (Hons) Live Sound, Lighting and Performance degree is one of five exciting courses in the Undergraduate Music Programme. A varied course where you will cover the fundamentals of sound principles such as acoustics and capture, sound reinforcement, music studio design, signal-theory, processing, sound synthesis, audio electronics, networked audio, multichannel audio and storage. Once the basics are established, you will focus on venue-based audio systems - from concert halls to festivals and everything in-between.In addition to handling and designing audio systems, you will also learn about video, lighting, augmentation, and virtual reality through the lens of broadcast and live events.On this course you will collaborate extensively within the School of Creative Arts, connecting with peers in the fields of Music Production, Audio Engineering and Songwriting.
