We offer research supervision in a wide range of subdisciplines of English language and linguistics. We welcome projects on any variety of English and can supervise the description and analysis of a range of languages.

We particularly welcome applications in the areas of:
Degree requirements: You’re normally expected to have a Merit (an average of 60% overall) in a Master’s degree. Subject-specific requirements: Your qualification should be in English language or linguistics or a related subject area. You may also be considered for the degree if you have other professional qualifications or experience of equivalent standing.
