Life as a foundation year studentDuring a foundation year you’ll learn about your chosen subject, develop your study skills and get used to university life. What you will studyOur LLB (Hons) Law with International Relations course will challenge you not only to understand the law, but also to apply it and consider its impact on society on a global scale. Our law courses are enhanced by our student-focused teaching approach, engaging tutorials and the opportunity to study legal areas that are of particular interest to you. You’ll learn how to debate the law, analyse its application to given situations and apply your legal understanding in a national or international context. We offer facilities such as the Court of the Future to provide practical experience. Further opportunities to develop your professional skills are provided through a series of extracurricular activities focusing on client interviewing, negotiation and mooting.
