Worst aspects of uni experience was 2nd year housemates. I felt rushed to find a 2nd year house and made big mistakes. 2nd year was miserable for me and I didn’t know I could access resources for help. Best aspects is when I did find the resources they did an amazing job to help me out.

The university life such as nights out in the LCR and the sports societies are great. The law building has a great feel to it and looks amazing.

The food is great and lots of places to go and study however the busses are unreliable and inconsistent making commuting to university difficult.

I mean the easiest way to explain this is by saying that if you ever step into UEA then you´re gonna cry on the day you will be leaving this campus. It is that good. It has the homely vibe. The people, the staff, the corridor, the benches , the classrooms everyone and everything has a story to tell. The environment here is so warm and cozy that people end up doing another course to stay back. We never want to step out of the comfort of the University because we have got it all under one roof. You name it and they have it!!! The only aspect that has given me a negative point is the accommodation provided by them. The two unit bedrooms are old and looks like they need maintenance. This year the service is not so good as compared to the time when I had just come in! Also, the January starters are not treated at par with September ones, that's what I felt.While September starters are allowed to sign a contract for an year by University accommodation, the January starters are only allowed to stay until the end of August and then either seek a house outside or choose another one of UEA's. accommodation. This is something weird. Why would you disturb us between the semester? So overall students should only come in September and not in January due to the biased rules. Also, the two room units are not at all cleaned properly by the cleaners like they do the ensuite ones. So apart from the accommodation aspect and January biasness ,I like the campus and it's vibe.

I had a negative interaction with a provider for an insight day process in December. The university took me very seriously and validated my concerns, and really did put me at ease.
