Our LLB Law degree at Southampton Law School offers a challenging and rewarding study of legal systems governing business, social and civil interactions, developing your analytical and problem-solving skills through a research-led curriculum with expert tutors and strong industry connections. This qualifying law degree (recognized by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and Bar Standards Board) provides in-depth legal knowledge alongside critical thinking and communication skills, enhanced by our unique employability program offering exceptional work experience and networking opportunities. You can experience law in action by shadowing senior judiciary, advising students at the Law Clinic, engaging with research groups like the Stefan Cross Centre for Women, Equality and Law, or participating in skills programs like Streetlaw. The degree offers flexibility to study non-law modules and participate in competitions including mooting and negotiation challenges, while student societies (Law Society, Inns of Court Society, etc.) foster community connections. Ranked sixth in the UK for Graduate Prospects (Times Good University Guide 2025) and seventh in the Complete University Guide (2026), our program undergoes regular quality reviews (regulated by England's Office for Students) to maintain educational excellence while allowing necessary curriculum updates.
