Explore the fundamental principles of law in England and Wales on a law degree designed to enable prospective lawyers to obtain the legal knowledge, skills and attributes needed to pursue a career in law, aligned with professional standards. You’ll take part in engaging and stimulating teaching through our interactive and challenging teaching sessions. You’ll obtain knowledge and skills in key areas of the Law of England and Wales as well as gaining an insight into international law. You can also specialise in a range of subjects including family law, company law, intellectual property law and human rights depending on your area of interest.Our industry links will provide you with the opportunity to meet and network with local lawyers and legal professionals. Solicitors in private practice, barristers, judges and in-house lawyers from top organisations like HSBC and NATO deliver inspiring guest lectures. You’ll also visit iconic legal institutions like the Royal Courts of Justice, Inns of Court, Parliament, and city law firms. Real-world application is embedded throughout your degree, take part in simulated trials, tribunals, and mooting competitions.
