With a proud history of higher education dating back to 1824, Manchester Metropolitan University is a modern university. Our campus is located in the centre of Manchester, an exciting and vibrant city with a history shaped by industry, culture and innovation. We have invested heavily in creating a campus that inspires our students, with modern facilities and designed to be kind to the planet. We are approaching the culmination of our £400 million investment programme to enhance our teaching and research facilities. Alongside the newly opened Grosvenor Building for the Arts and Humanities, the School of Digital Arts will open in Autumn 2021, the Institute of Sport in early 2022, and our new Science and Engineering Building is set to open in 2023. Manchester Met is one of the UK’s greenest universities.
