Our LLB in Law and Politics develops your critical and analytical skills, enables you to think about the role of law in society, and provides hands-on experience through opportunities to work on real cases in our Law Clinic. Our modules reflect current and relevant issues including conflict resolution, federalism, comparative politics, European integration, ethnic conflict, terrorism, the theory of international relations, political theory, and the politics of countries such as China, Japan, Russia and the USA. Our research-led teaching encourages you to take a critical view of politics and the law, engaging with the latest research undertaken by expert academics. Our diverse, international community of staff and students provides a dynamic and engaging environment to gain the professional legal skills and political knowledge you need to change the world we live in. How you'll study:You study the detail of the law and politics, as well as their complex histories. You analyse judgments and legal developments while considering the political, ethical and social dimensions of the law. This critical approach facilitates your ability to interrogate and investigate the law.
