The LLB Law and Legal Practice offers you an opportunity to graduate with a set of legal skills and competencies relevant to the pursuit of legal practical qualification. You will be taught by leading scholars as well as expert legal practitioners. You will be examined in oral and written forms of advocacy and reflectively engage with what it means to advocate on behalf of a client.  Your studies will be organised around skills-oriented courses relevant to the legal profession, including but not limited to:- evidence- legal argument and language in law- mooting and trial skills- transformative lawyering.On this LLB Law and Legal Practice, you will be encouraged to apply to participate in one of the various work placements, internships or law clinics offered through the law department and its partners. These include River House Law Clinic (in partnership with Hammersmith and Fulham Law Centre), the University of London Refugee Law Clinic and the Environmental Law Clinic and internships with firms and NGOs.


Teaching on this LLB Law and Legal Practice is very flexible to respond to the needs of our students. This course has an evening timetable with lectures, seminars and classes taking place in the evening. Some daytime and online teaching is available, depending on the modules you choose.
