This degree is taught in collaboration with our colleagues at Dundee's Al-Maktoum College. We have a strong history and expertise of teaching traditional finance and economics and we will draw upon the expertise in Islamic finance and wider Islamic studies on offer at Al-Maktoum. Few degrees of this kind exist in the UK.
You will develop your understanding of the application of Islamic commercial law in relation to Islamic financial institutions and financial products, as well as the emergence and working mechanisms of Islamic capital markets.
Throughout the duration of this course, you will:
A UK Honours degree at third-class or above. Your degree should be in any subject which has enabled you to develop analytical and quantitative skills.
