Course Overview

This qualification is for those who work or wants to progress onto university or work as a Travel and Tourism manager or operations manager, in the Travel and Tourism sector. It allows you to learn, develop and practise the skills required for education, employment and/or career progression within the sector.

You will learn the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the workplace including the latest in professional standards. You will also get the opportunity to develop behaviours for work, for example by undertaking a group project, or responding to a client brief.

The programme will enable you to develop a wider knowledge of principles and methodology, supported by the development of analytical and research skills through extensive group and individual projects.

It provides a thorough grounding in the key concepts and skills required in this sector and the national recognition by employers allows direct progression to employment or university.
