The best one is the quality of course modules and high-level education from Professor with fabulous careers. Meanwhile, there are some limitations In terms of location of uni which is pretty far from big cities.

Intellectual discussion that really gives you a different perspective and makes you curious to know more. Level of respect from academics welcome you and encourage you to discover your potential.

IDS is the best program in this related field. Would be great to feel stronger relationships between the students, and strengthen networks.

The best thing is that it's a campus based university. Easy commute between classes, calm and quiet, conveniently distant from the town, supportive staff, etc. The worst aspects include common spaces in accomodation, food prices, part time opportunities and rushed student life.

The University is very conveniently located. There's a train station and bus stops within the University. We also have amazing cafes, convenient stores, pharmacies and a doctor on campus. Mental health is taken very seriously and there is support for everything one can think of. The library is 24×7 and has some of the best collections. The University is located amongst national parks that make for a good, easy hike on sunny days to catch the most amazing sunsets. In the absence of students on campus, the campus feels very isolated and awefully silent given it's distance from the city. The convenient store, though amazing and boasting of a wide range of items, are not the most affordable and hence cannot be used for weekly grocery shopping. They become a good last resort of sorts.

Best: Sussex is a world renowned institution (especially the institute of Development Studies) with staff who are giants in their field at the cutting edge or theory, research and technology. The student support is nothing short of amazing. At IDS I feel like a person with professors who know my name and actually remember contributions I've made during lectures and seminars. They speak from a place of knowledge and experience and are always available to help as soon as that help is requested. The university truly goes above and beyond to help each student maximize their fullest potential and enjoy their stay while they're studying. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The grounds are well kept and the campus has everything one would generally need to live there comfortably (health center, dental office, supermarket, bars, restaurants etc). The porters and other staff including campus security are all so helpful and really make you feel at home. When it comes to my dislikes, I wouldn't say worst, but what I dont really like are only 2 things: 1. the condition of the laundromat - at Northfield the machines need to be serviced more often because they have stained and ruined my clothes on more than one occasion . 2. there NEEDS to be a shuttle bus system within campus even if ONLY during the winter months. As a student coming from the Caribbean, walking to class in the freezing rain is NOT my idea of a great experience.
