This is a broad-based course, concerned with the fundamentals of all natural resources and energy. Governments are constantly making decisions about the interaction of resources and energy, such as how much oil, coal, or gas to use. You will study the individual sectors and examine the options that governments face. You'll learn about the rules and regulations surrounding hydrocarbon and minerals production, together with gas and power downstream sectors.

You will have the option to study energy and resource economics, energy financing, or dispute settlement modules, depending on your own interests. You do not need to be a lawyer to take this course.
