This is a unique opportunity for law students from the University of Gothenburg and the University of Bergen to gain a Postgraduate Certificate in International Finance Law from Queen Marys Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS). You will benefit from the practical expertise and insights of our renowned teaching staff, several of whom act as advisers to international organisations such as the IMF, World Bank, European Central Bank and the European Commission, as well as national and international governments and the banking and finance industry. You will be able to attend CCLS conferences and seminars, including the CCLS Open Lectures, which attract many high-profile guest speakers including judges, senior partners and directors from leading financial institutions.
Career paths
There is a very high rate of employment of our students within six months of graduation. We have specialist career advisers who organise events and assist with finding internship opportunities at UK and international law firms and other employers.
Our entry requirements clearly state the minimum academic grade applicants need to attain, as well as required or cognate subjects needed, where applicable. In circumstances where an applicant has not attained the minimum required grade for entry, due to extenuating circumstances, we will have expected applicants to have notified their school, university or examination board and outlined the circumstances that have impacted their learning.
