Our BA (Hons) International Education course analyses both the national and international education systems and explores this in relation to the 4 ‘P’s- philosophy, pedagogy, policy and practice. You will gain an in-depth perspective of education systems from around the world as you look beyond the national picture. Viewing education through a variety of international lenses in this way enables you to become a global citizen committed to social justice. You will have the opportunity to undertake work placement in your second and third years in a variety of educational settings or organisations, both in the UK and abroad. These placements help you to contextualise theoretical learning and examine contemporary educational issues in society.
