Global commercial transactions are becoming more complex, posing new legal challenges.
On this course, you’ll:
•look at the law in a commercial setting
•learn to resolve business disputes between or among transnational parties through the use of arbitrators and through courts
•explore the legal framework governing commercial activities and cross-border transactions
•develop the practical skills needed to act as a legal adviser during international commercial transactions
•learn to assess cutting-edge scenarios and recent reforms in international commercial law.
This course is ideal if you’re already a legal practitioner or in business and wish to gain an understanding of the legal context for international business deals. It’s also suitable for anyone preparing for further research in this area.

Degree requirements: You should normally have an upper second-class (2.1) undergraduate honours degree or above. Subject-specific requirements: Your qualification should be in law. In exceptional cases, you may be considered for the course if you have other professional qualifications or experience of equivalent standing.
