This fascinating International Business Management course provides specialist business and management education that is deeply international in focus. Youll gain skills and knowledge across a range of business functions, all with a global orientation, to develop an understanding of real-world business decisions and actions that transcend borders. Your one-year studying abroad or work placement could see you living in Asia, the USA, Australia or Europe – a life-changing experience that builds both self-confidence and cultural awareness. How will my BSc (Hons) International Business Management degree provide me with the skills needed for my career?

Employability is at the heart of our Business courses – with every module building the transferable skills youll need to move into graduate employment. In your first and second year, youll study modules in ‘Professional career development and ‘Managing people across borders. Both will develop your employability and leadership potential, as well as help you plan for your career.

Whats more, our international work placement scheme will help boost your job prospects – with graduates going on to work for global brands such as Samsung, KPMG and Disney. Further examples of recent graduate progression from this course include a selling partner at John Lewis, a graduate management trainee at Taylor Wimpey Homes, a personal banker at global financial organisation Citibank and a digital marketing specialist at international communications agency Ogilvy.

Alternatively, a study year abroad will not only give you international awareness and enhance your CV but also increase your confidence and personal development. We have well-developed links with highly-respected institutions in Europe, North America, Mexico, Hong Kong and many other countries, opening a world of opportunities.

By the end of this course youll be in an excellent position to apply for graduate training schemes and roles in large corporations such as British Airways, Santander and Deloitte, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises. Recent graduates have gone on to be entrepreneurs, business managers, consultants and analysts in different global sectors – fully equipped to see the world from an insightful, international perspective.
