You’ll study the scientific background of implantology and progress through restorative treatment planning into implant surgery. Having direct management of patients requiring fixed and removable implant-retained prostheses and will start seeing your own patients in the first month of the programme. The modules that are studied will be taught through lectures, seminars and project-based learning, as well as extensive clinical teaching. Clinical, practical and academic skills will be assessed throughout this course using both summative and formative assessments. Summative or more formal examinations will be taken at the end of Part One of the programme before proceeding to the dissertation element.
