Our BSc (Hons) Human Resource Management course will enable you to gain Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. This professional qualification will help to raise your profile and demonstrate that you have the people skills to deliver in today’s business world.

Teaching & Learning

Independent study is a crucial part of learning at university and you will be required to undertake many hours of self-directed research and reading, and preparation and writing of assessments. Your course is delivered through a number of modules, which will help you to plan your time and establish a study routine. Outside of your lectures, workshops and tutorials, a range of support is available to assist with your independent study. Our subject-specific librarians will be on hand to direct you to the specialist learning and study-skill resources. You’ll also be assigned an academic advisor to give you tailored feedback and support.

Career Prospects

You will graduate with an in-depth knowledge of the human dynamics of organisations, preparing you for a career in general management or HRM. Our graduates have successful careers in local government, business and the voluntary sector. We will nurture your entrepreneurial skills and you might choose to set up your own HR or training consultancy. This course is accredited by the CIPD to the Intermediate Diploma in HRM. You must pass all relevant modules to gain this accreditation.
